Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Dalton, GA, seeks a Maintenance Technician B on the day shift to keep production equipment running safely and reliably. You will perform hands-on maintenance, diagnose issues, and participate in PM/PdM with CMMS documentation to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical skills, and a collaborative approach to problem solving within a team of technicians and operations staff.

Qualifications

Strong background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Safety-focused with knowledge of LOTO, confined space, PPE, hot work, PIT, fall protection.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment.
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues impacting safety, quality, and production.
Execute repairs efficiently and communicate findings and corrective actions.
Perform PM inspections, lubrication, and component replacements.
Use PdM tools to identify early signs of equipment failure.
Support equipment installations, modifications, and process improvements.
Mentor entry-level technicians and collaborate with senior technicians.
