The Opportunity
- Support the operation of a fast‑paced packaging manufacturing facility.
- Maintain, test, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine remedial actions.
- Restore equipment operation in all manufacturing areas.
- Operate equipment such as Corrugator, Flexo Printers, Rotary Die Cutters, and Flexo Gluer’s.
- Install, start‑up, and shut down equipment following company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and best practices.
- Inform management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers.
- Maintain maintenance records and performance documentation for identified equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance functions as directed, assist personnel with technical troubleshooting, and perform other duties as required.

What you need to succeed
- Ability to troubleshoot, schedule, and plan maintenance.
- Follow specific directions and perform other duties as assigned.
- Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety regulations.
- Have a thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
- Have PLC experience and be skilled in electrical troubleshooting, including drives and contactors.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; use hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools; examine form and texture of parts.
- Determine dimensional changes of parts by inspecting used parts with rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Provide maintenance information using CMMS.
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
- Show flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; some college or training in a technical field.
- Possess a proven minimum of 3 years experience in industrial maintenance.
