Job summary

Allied Reliability seeks a Maintenance Technician IV in Little Rock to join a team focused on electrical and mechanical maintenance, equipment upgrades, and safe plant operations. This role involves troubleshooting PLCs, metal fabrication, and supporting engineering in new processes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial maintenance, welding experience (Arc, Mig, Tig), and is willing to travel to other Trex sites during the initial months. Dayshift, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• High mechanical aptitude and ability to wear PPE.
• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Welding experience (Arc, Mig, and Tig) required.
• Welding Certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel regularly to other sites during early months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems on-site.
• Troubleshoot programmable logic controls and ladder logic.
• Perform metal fabrication, machining, and welding as needed.

Job description

Position Title:

Maintenance Technician IV (Little Rock)

Reports to:

Maintenance Manager II

Purpose/Primary Function

Work in a team environment to support production equipment repairs and upgrades and perform general and preventive maintenance. Design, develop, and implement new products/process equipment, all to ensure a productive and safe work environment. The Maintenance Technician role requires both working knowledge and responsibility for electrical and mechanical maintenance duties.

This is a unique opportunity to join the organization at an expansion stage and help build talent and culture from the ground up, as we build Trex’s new location in Little Rock. A high level of accountability and coordination, along with a focus on relationships and willingness to travel regularly to other established locations during the early months of this role will be key components to success.

This position is currently a Dayshift Monday through Friday 7 AM - 3 PM Position.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Promote and practice all aspects of job safety.

• Responsible for metal fabrication, machining, and welding as required.

• Participation in housekeeping activities to keep up plant appearance and ensure it operates acceptably and safely.
• Participate in additional duties as required by the department team lead or manager.
• Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies.
• Able to lead small team projects creating a cooperative and effective work environment.
