Job summary

Creative Foam Corp in Dayton, OH seeks an experienced maintenance technician responsible for hands-on machine maintenance, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems troubleshooting. The role supports plant upgrades and ensures safe, reliable manufacturing operations.

You will perform preventative maintenance, assist in upgrades, document work orders, and uphold safety standards. Five years of manufacturing maintenance experience and strong electrical skills are required; basic

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in maintenance within manufacturing.
• 3 to 5 years of strong electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshoot abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with machine maintenance and plant upgrades is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventative/predictive maintenance per specifications.
• Assists in manufacture, assembly, and installation of machine or plant upgrades.
• Keeps accurate information on work orders including problem, remedy, labor, parts and downtime.
• Promotes company's safety efforts and maintains a safe working environment.

The Qualified Individual Will Poses The Following Skill Set

• Hands-on machine maintenance support including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair, weld/fabricating experience. Knowledge and understanding of control panels and control logic. 5 axis robotic system experience helpful.
• Hands-on plant maintenance support including utilities and structure.
• Performs the scheduled preventative/predictive maintenance program to its specifications and guidelines.
• Assists in the manufacture, assembly, and installation of machine or plant upgrades, and plant improvement programs.
• Responsible for keeping accurate information on a project or repair work order including problem, remedy, labor, parts and downtime incurred in a legible, specific format.
• Promotes company's safety efforts and maintains a safe working environment for employees.

Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in maintenance within manufacturing.
• 3 to 5 years of strong electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshoot abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
