Job summary

Creative Foam Corp in Dowagiac, Michigan seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance department, ensuring reliable facilities and equipment, and driving safety and efficiency. You will oversee technicians, coordinate with production planning, review maintenance requests, and implement upgrades as needed to support operations.

The role requires strong leadership and a focus on the company’s values, with flexibility to work overtime to meet business needs and maintain high performance

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance department functions and personnel for assigned facilities
• Coordinate preventative maintenance with production planning staff
• Receive and review requests for maintenance and prioritize maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs; recommend equipment upgrades or modifications
• Maintain records and documentation related to repairs made
• Manage work of technical maintenance staff, contractors or subcontractors
• Practice Creative Foam’s values in a positive manner at all times
• Work overtime as required based on business needs and/or operational requirements
• Perform all other tasks as requested and required
