Job summary

American Axle & Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Tech for 2nd and 3rd shifts at the Twinsburg Township, OH facility. You will install, repair and maintain production equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES include diagnosing mechanical/electrical/hydraulic issues, interpreting PLC ladder logic, and working with ABB robot systems. A high school diploma and technical training are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical education and/or experience in maintenance.
• Ability to interpret ladder logic and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions.
• Navigate ladder logic in PLC systems for troubleshooting faults.
• Modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots.
• Install, move, and align equipment; operate machine shop tools with accuracy.
• Perform gas and electric welding as required.
