Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Middlebury, IN is seeking a Maintenance Tech II on the second shift. You will repair and maintain equipment across manufacturing, refrigeration, and packaging functions, including ammonia, boilers and HVAC systems.

You’ll follow PM schedules, log regulatory records and troubleshoot multi-craft machinery to keep lines running. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, HVAC certification preferred, and 3–5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.

• HVAC certification preferred.
• Mechatronics Certifications Levels 1-4 completed.
• 3-5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Ammonia/HVAC and refrigerant systems.
• Knowledge of SQF, GMPs, LOTO and Lean Manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning, scheduling and maintenance activities in a multi-craft environment.
• Proactively maintains water treatment, refrigeration, boiler and related systems including ammonia
• Regulatory and compliance record keeping for all systems.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance of utilities systems (PLC, instrumentation, mechanical, electrical).
• Responsible for Preventative Maintenance (PM) and timely work order completion.
• Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager and upholds 200% safety accountability.
