Del-Co Water Company in Delaware, OH, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech to inspect, install, and repair water treatment and distribution equipment under general supervision. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and operates on-site, M-F 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with on-call availability for emergencies.

A strong focus on safety, documentation, and teamwork is expected. Tech 2 requires 5 years in electrical work; Tech 3 requires 7 years and ability to read electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Completion of an apprenticeship or related training with several years of electrical work experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code preferred.
• Experience with instrumentation and calibration encouraged.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain safety standards.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, maintain, and repair water treatment plants, elevated tanks, pump stations, and distribution equipment.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Recommend short- and long-term solutions to problems.
• Dismantle equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Test parts and equipment to determine performance.
• Lubricate and clean parts; maintain records of repairs.
• Use hand tools and power tools; ensure proper maintenance and storage.
• Follow safety guidelines and policies; participate in emergencies and on-call duties.
• Collaborate with team members on group projects.
