Job summary

Del-Co Water Company, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of the fleet. Technician I/II roles cover inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles, generators, and equipment.

The position reports to the Acting Maintenance Manager and runs M-F, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. in Delaware, OH. Requires high school diploma or GED and relevant vocational training or experience; CDL and ASE or related certifications are

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or preferred; related vocational training is a plus.
Technician I: vocational training, apprenticeship or military training, or 1+ year of fleet maintenance experience preferred.
Technician II: related technical training and 3+ years of fleet, automotive, or generator maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on Del-Co's fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Coordinate routine service, repair, and inspection activities with the assigned department.
Support maintenance of generators and transfer switches in emergency-ready condition.
Complete work orders and record labor, parts, and results in Del-Co's CMMS.
Assist with inventory, parts receiving, shop organization, and fleet-related admin duties.
