Job summary

AHI, a member of The Baillie Group, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their Amissville, VA location. This is a full-time opportunity with 1st shift.

The position involves maintaining electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a world-class hardwood lumber manufacturing setting. AHS Diploma required; welding/fabrication experience preferred and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain HS Diploma.
• Experience in welding/fabricating is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must interface with line operators to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, test, repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
• Diagnose malfunctions and restore equipment to operation.
• Provide skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to manufacturing areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment including controls, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment.
• Welding and fabricating as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
