Job summary

Job&Talent is seeking a Maintenance Tech in Elkton to ensure the optimal operation of manufacturing facilities, buildings, equipment and grounds. The role includes battery work, diagnostics, and adherence to safety programs.

The position requires lifting up to 100 lbs, responding to weather emergencies, and flexible schedules including nights and weekends. Compensation is $20.75 per hour with standard benefits.

Maintenance Tech - Elkton

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Tech to work with a leading wholesale company in Elkton. This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of manufacturing facilities, including building, equipment, and grounds upkeep.
Shift Patterns

• Sunday to Wednesday 5am to 3:30pm
• Sunday to Wednesday 11am to 9:30pm
• Wednesday to Saturday 11am to 9:30pm

Pay Rates

• 20.75 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Maintenance Tech

• Ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely
• Understand and comply with safety management, EPA and OSHA policies, procedures, and programs
• Understand and use data from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to complete proper and timely preventative maintenance, repairs, and record keeping
• Lift up to 50 lbs to 100 lbs
• Must be able to respond and perform physical demands of weather emergencies, work in confined spaces, and pass respirator fit tests

Desirable requirements for Maintenance Tech

• High school diploma or GED; college coursework or continuing technical education preferred
• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment
• Ability to accommodate flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
