Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech in Tulsa, OK. This 1st shift role runs Monday to Friday, 5:00am–3:30pm, focusing on troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics and performing preventive maintenance for manufacturing operations.

The candidate will perform PM level 2 tasks, install gearboxes, repair mechanical assemblies, and complete work orders via CMMS while adhering to safety lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Technical training or certification preferred.
• PM tech level 2 experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience troubleshooting bearings.
• Experience repairing basic electrical circuits.
• Must operate CMMS and fill out work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM tech level 2 tasks and preventive maintenance.
• Replace bearings and bearing assemblies.
• Repair and replace mechanical assemblies.
• Repair and rebuild equipment.
• Install gearboxes and related components.
• Complete work orders via CMMS; maintain 80% maintenance utilization.
• Drive shaft rebuilding and related tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Weld damaged equipment and fabricate as needed.
• Follow lock out tag out procedures.

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a skilled Maintenance Tech to complete troubleshooting and repair of hydraulics and pneumatics. This position will support the manufacturing operations performing preventative maintenance as well as emergency repairs as needed. This is a 1st shift position; Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 3:30pm. What you will be doing:

• PM tech level 2 skills plus the following:
• Replacement of bearings and bearing assemblies
• Repair and replacement of mechanical assemblies
• Repair and Rebuilding of equipment
• Installation of gearboxes
• Must complete work orders via CMMS software and maintenance utilization of 80%
• Drive shaft rebuilding
• Troubleshooting and repair of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Welding of damaged equipment and fabrication of equipment
• Must adhere to all lock out tag out procedures

The skills and experience you need:

• Education:
  • Technical training and certification preferred
• Experience:
  • PM tech level 2 experience plus the following:
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic assemblies.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repair of pneumatic assemblies.
  • Experience troubleshooting bearings
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing basic electrical circuits
  • Must be able to operate CMMS software and fill out work orders
• Other:
  • Must maintain punctual and reliable attendance
  • Must complete all tasks in a professional manner
  • Ability to operate specialized and basic hand tools.
  • Must be able to use bearing pullers, bearing heater, press.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to be a contributing and collaborative team member.
  • Must have own tools including sockets and wrenches up to 1” and 25mm.
