Qualifications

• 1+ years of general maintenance or handyperson experience (restaurant/commercial a plus).
• Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and mechanical knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving with a fix-it mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.
• Willingness to assist with occasional emergency repairs or off-hour calls.

Responsibilities

• Repairs & Maintenance: fix minor plumbing leaks, clogs, basic electrical, wall repairs/painting, minor woodwork.
• Equipment Care: troubleshoot, clean, maintain commercial machinery and appliances.
• Safety & Compliance: inspect safety equipment and ensure standards compliance.
• Work Orders & Inventory: respond to maintenance tickets and track tools/parts.

We are seeking a reliable, handy, and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities running safely and smoothly. In this role, you will be responsible for general upkeep, routine preventive maintenance, and quick repairs across equipment, plumbing, electrical, and physical structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine Upkeep & Inspections: Perform daily/weekly equipment checks, HVAC filter changes, light bulb replacements, and facility walkthroughs.

• Repairs & Maintenance: Fix minor plumbing issues (leaks, clear clogs), basic electrical fixtures (switches, outlets), wall repairs/painting, and minor woodwork.

• Equipment Care: Troubleshoot, clean, and perform routine maintenance on essential commercial machinery and appliances.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all safety equipment (fire extinguishers, emergency exits, safety lighting) is inspected and compliant with standards.

• Work Orders & Inventory: Respond promptly to daily maintenance tickets/requests and keep track of repair tools, parts, and hardware inventory.

• Vendor & Team Support: Assist outside contractors/specialists when major repairs or specialized servicing are required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in general maintenance, facility upkeep, or handyperson work (restaurant, commercial, or residential experience is a plus).

• Technical Knowledge: Basic proficiency in plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, drywall, and mechanical systems.

• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a "fix-it" mindset.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, bend, reach, climb ladders, and operate basic power tools safely.

• Dependability: Punctual, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and with a team.

• Flexibility: Willingness to assist with occasional emergency repairs or off-hour calls if needed.
