POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician at Parker Oil & Propane is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance across company facilities equipment and grounds to ensure safe efficient and compliant operations
This role directly supports Parkers mission to serve our customers and communities with excellence while protecting our people assets and environment
This position plays a critical role in keeping our locations compliant functional and ready to support day to day operations across the organization

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on company buildings storage tanks piping pumps and related equipment
- Conduct basic repairs in plumbing electrical mechanical and carpentry systems
- Maintain and repair fences gates concrete pads and site grounds
- Assist with installation or removal of equipment and componentsRespond to emergency maintenance needs as required including occasional after hours or on call work
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INSPECTION AND REPORTING
- Identify maintenance issues and report needed repairs to supervisors promptly
- Keep maintenance logs inspection records and work orders accurate and up to date
- Participate in scheduled facility inspections and safety walkthroughs
SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
- Follow all Parker safety policies and procedures
- Comply with OSHA DOT NFPA and other applicable industry regulations
- Maintain clean safe and organized work areas at all times
- Properly use PPE and ensure tools and equipment are maintained in safe working condition
EOS ACCOUNTABILITY
- In alignment with Parkers EOS operating system this role is accountable for Completing assigned maintenance tasks on time and to standard
- Proactively identifying facility or equipment risks
- Supporting scorecard metrics related to safety uptime and compliance
- Communicating clearly with supervisors about priorities timelines and resource needs

QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in building or industrial maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing electrical mechanical or general construction systems
- Ability to read basic diagrams instructions and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional evenings or weekends for emergencies
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders kneel bend and work in outdoor environments
- Comfortable working around industrial equipment and job sites
