Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our manufacturing team. This intermediate role focuses on mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance for punch presses, conveyors, and related equipment.

You will work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, assist with machine setups and changeovers, and ensure equipment reliability while following safety procedures in a hands-on production environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role.
• Solid mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of motors up to 10 HP, belts, pulleys, bearings, couplings, and mechanical power transmission.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs. and perform hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on punch presses, stamping machines, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors up to 10 HP, belts, pulleys, bearings, couplings, and mechanical drive components.
• Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, including hoses, valves, cylinders, regulators, and related components.
• Replace worn or damaged parts and make mechanical adjustments to keep equipment operating properly.
• Perform basic alignment of mechanical components.
• Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and mechanical adjustments.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Inspect machinery for wear, lubrication needs, leaks, and potential safety issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist with getting machinery safely back into production.
• Document completed maintenance work and update maintenance logs or CMMS records.
• Communicate equipment status and maintenance needs to supervisors and senior maintenance personnel.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and machine guarding requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment hazards.
• Assist with new equipment installation and setup as directed.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II – MANUFACTURING

Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our manufacturing team. This is an intermediate-level maintenance position for someone who has solid mechanical experience, enjoys troubleshooting equipment, and is ready to take on greater responsibility in a production environment.

You'll work hands-on with punch presses, stamping equipment, conveyors, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other production machinery while helping keep equipment safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for a maintenance professional who can independently handle routine mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance while continuing to develop more advanced troubleshooting skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

WHAT YOU BRING

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role

• Working knowledge of motors up to 10 HP, belts, pulleys, bearings, couplings, and mechanical power transmission

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with punch presses, stamping equipment, metal forming, fastener manufacturing, or other high-cycle production machinery
• Basic electrical troubleshooting, including sensors, switches, contactors, and related components
• Welding, fabrication, or machining experience
• Experience using a CMMS or computerized maintenance management system
• OSHA 10 certification
