Job Summary

Alys Beach is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role supports smooth daily operations by assisting maintenance engineers, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring a well-maintained environment for our community.

Job Responsibilities

• Primary function of the skilled maintenance person is assisting the Maintenance Department with the day-to-day operation of resort maintenance.
• Assist maintenance staff in making sure all work orders are completed in a timely fashion and with customer satisfaction
• Provide customer service to homeowners, guests, vendors, and co-workers
• Complete and turn in all paper work daily
• Work with homeowners on special projects
• Drive company truck and/or golf cart to perform assigned duties
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of experience in general maintenance
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Ability to use standard software applications
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds without assistance
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, squat, and lift Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Ability to work a longer than normal (8 hour) workday
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions with extended exposure to heat, sun, humidity, and cold
• One year of experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical
