Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is hiring a property Maintenance Technician to support a reputable local property management company in Madison, WI.

You will report to the Maintenance Team Leader and work with property management and operations teams to keep multiple residences up to standards, diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances, and coordinate with residents, owners and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or appliance repair.
• Driver's license and insured vehicle for daily use.
• Live within 30 miles of downtown Madison, WI.
• Comfortable using computers and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Ensure physical aspects of multiple properties meet standards and applicable laws.
• Diagnose problems and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Develop understanding of the property portfolio, inventory, and SOPs.
• Communicate with the Property Management team about maintenance projects.
• Complete work-order reports thoroughly.
• Handle and document inventory appropriately.
• Understand general facets of property management.
• Complete work orders and handle inventory.
• Interact professionally with residents, office staff, and vendors.

We are currently hiring for a property Maintenance Technician with a reputable local property management company.

The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Team Leader and will work with the property management and operations teams to ensure that the properties are kept up to applicable standards. Applicants must be customer-service driven and be able to handle the daily challenges associated with the property management industry and maintaining multiple residences.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Ensure that the physical aspects of multiple properties meet company standards and applicable laws
• Competently diagnose problems and make repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
• Develop an understanding of the property portfolio, inventory, and SOPs
• Communicate with the Property Management team to ensure that property residents and owners are kept in the loop on applicable maintenance projects
• Complete work-order reports thoroughly
• Handle and document inventory appropriately
• Understand the general facets of property management
• Complete work orders and handle inventory
• Interact professionally with residents, office staff, and vendors as needed

Requirements:

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair
• Driver's license and insured personal vehicle for daily use (paid mileage).
• Live within a 30 miles radius of downtown Madison, WI
• Comfortable using computers and smart phones preferred

Schedule:9am - 5pm Mon - Fri.NO on-call weekend hours.

Pay:Based on previous experience, $20 - $30+/hour
