Job summary

The Highlands Apartment Homes is seeking a knowledgeable and teachable Maintenance Tech to join our property management team in the Las Vegas area. We value integrity, reliability, and hands-on skills across plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

You will work in a non-corporate environment with opportunities for on-the-job training, a friendly team, and pathways to grow within the organization. This role requires physical stamina and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or Associate Degree or Vocational School Degree.
• 1 year (at least) in Property Maintenance.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, drywall, carpentry, painting, HVAC diagnosis.
• Must have own tools & equipment.
• Able to lift 75+ lbs.
• Able to organize & multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents and maintain professional image on property.
• Support Maintenance Manager with tasks and projects.
• Maintain property cleanliness and order.
• Perform repairs in occupied units as needed.
• Assist in renovating apartments to rent-ready condition.
• Be available for Emergency On-Call Rotation.
