Job summary

Aspen Square Management is seeking a versatile maintenance technician for our Banyan Bay community in Jacksonville. The role involves performing timely work orders, routine HVAC maintenance, and prepping apartments for new residents.

You will collaborate with on-site teams to keep property standards high and ensure residents receive excellent service. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of maintenance experience, EPA licensure, and hands-on HVAC skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in property management or housing.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems and related repairs.
• EPA licensure required.
• Must be willing to participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, performing repairs and preventive upkeep.
• Prepare apartments for new residents, make readies, and punch lists.
• Collaborate with maintenance and office teams to uphold property standards.
• Uphold the property's curb appeal and overall visual appearance.
• Provide top-notch customer service to residents.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Description:

• Complete assigned work orders promptly and efficiently
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, performing repairs and preventive upkeep
• Prepare apartments for new residents, make ready’s, and punch list
• Collaborate closely with our maintenance and office teams to uphold property standards
• Uphold the visual appeal of the property, maintaining its curb appeal
• Provide top-notch customer service to our residents
• All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience (prior experience in property management or housing is advantageous)
• Hold EPA licensure
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise with HVAC systems
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations for emergencies as scheduled
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to and from work, ability to go off-site
• Provide own hand tools
• Essential functions of the position regularly require the ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time, the ability to operate equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
