Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a technical maintenance team in repairing and preventing equipment downtime. You will drive losses out of systems, set standard approaches, and contribute to production results while developing staff.

The role requires experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, strong leadership, and a focus on safety and compliance with standards. Prior food processing industry exposure is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years related work experience with at least 1 year in a leading role.
Experience leading a maintenance team is preferred.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and related techniques is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Directs daily maintenance operations for assigned areas.
Directs activities of employees to perform equipment repair and preventive maintenance procedures.
Directs or performs layout work for each project as needed.
Consults with engineers and vendors as needed.
Checks that repairs are done correctly and efficiently.
Supports site-wide maintenance including packaging, process, mechanical, electrical, building maintenance and stationary engineering.
