Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to oversee emergency and preventative repairs on plant equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, coordinate with production leadership, and ensure safe, efficient maintenance operations on a rotating schedule.

The ideal candidate has a strong Industrial Maintenance background, PLC experience, and the ability to work physically demanding shifts while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Trade certification or Technology Diploma preferred.
• 5+ years as Industrial Mechanic or Electrician is expected.
• PLC and basic drives experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency and preventative repairs on plant machinery and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Use lock-out/tag-out procedures and maintain safety.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisor during emergencies and outages.
• Maintain tidy work areas and manage maintenance materials and tools.
