Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products, LLC is seeking an Industrial Mechanic/Electrician for our Ohio facility. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal uptime on coating/roll forming lines.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, trade certification or 5+ years in industrial maintenance, with strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and PanelView systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technology diploma or trade certification preferred.
• 5+ years as an industrial mechanic or electrician desirable.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; PLC experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues on coating lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and drive systems to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and operations.
