Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products, LLC in Ohio is hiring an Industrial Mechanic/Electrician to maintain and repair equipment across coil coating lines. The role requires PLC and basic drives experience, strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work up to 12-hour shifts.

You will be part of a safety‑driven team focused on reliability and uptime. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, plus a technology diploma or 5+ years in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technology diploma or trade certification or 5+ years experience as Industrial Mechanic or Electrician.
• PLC and basic drives experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Good communication skills to explain electrical issues.
• Able to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, etc.).
• Must pass background check and drug test.

• Perform maintenance and repair across coil coating lines.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement timely solutions.
• Collaborate with team and operations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Work up to 12-hour shifts as required by production needs.
