Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Massillon, OH is seeking an hourly Maintenance Mechanic to plan, organize, and direct maintenance activities and training to cost effectively produce high quality products. Starting wages are $43.93/hr.

You will repair, install, and maintain plant machinery to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency. You will work with the operations team to drive continuous improvement, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to OSHA, HAZMAT, USDA, FDA and EPA regulations while growing

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance/manufacturing manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to use a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to inspect equipment.
• Ability to repair, rebuild or overhaul equipment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Risk Management Process and support system/standards improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement with operations to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment to maintain production.
• Direct and supervise employees; manage schedules, PMs, work orders and audits.
• Provide a safe work environment and enforce company safety procedures.
