Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Maintenance - Machining, Team Leader for shift 2 to oversee machining equipment, support automation, and lead a maintenance team. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and collaboration with engineering for improvements.

The position requires hands-on experience with hydraulics, electrics, robotics, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and uptime in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and basic electrical repair preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Experience with troubleshooting basic electrical systems (PLC, sensors, relays) and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures while servicing, installing, or maintaining equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Provide support to troubleshoot and recover robot-related issues on production lines.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner and maintain high quality standards.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate issues to supervisors and other departments.
