The role requires diagnosing and servicing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, plus crane/hoist systems maintenance, with safety as a priority. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting CNC machines and welding robots.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5–13 years of related experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on onsite equipment and machinery.
  • Repair and maintain facility infrastructure and HVAC systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Install, relocate, and repair machines, piping, and electrical components.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot cranes, hoists, transformers, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain safety and comply with company procedures.

Shift is Monday-Friday 6 am- 2:30 pm (EST)Pay depends on experience.SUMMARYResponsible for maintaining site equipment, utilities and infrastructure. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and reparation of site machinery, equipment, physical structures, piping and electrical systems by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPlans and coordinates work within the wide range of maintenance activitiesPerforms regularly scheduled preventative maintenance of on-site equipment and machinery.Ability to use multi-meter to verify /troubleshoot (single and 3-phase) AC & DC circuitsRepairs and maintains the physical structure and infrastructure of the establishment.Responds to service requests for equipment and system. Able to identify, recommend countermeasures and resolve most abnormality conditions.Installation, relocation, dismantling, and repair of machines and equipment, including new and repaired parts. Includes wiring and utility tie-ins, safety checks, and start-up functions.Installation, relocation, reconfiguring, and dismantling of crane and hoist systems.Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers, wiring, and other electrical equipment.Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.Operates a variety of tools and equipment within the context of these duties, including but not limited to, lifting systems, and cutting torches, welding equipment, and monitoring devices.Ability to read, interpret and instruct others on issues such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Works in a safe manner at all times, following all safety guidelines.Maintains facility HVAC equipment from a repair/preventative maintenance standpoint.Familiar with maintenance activities with CNC machining centers and welding robots.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).13-5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or additional related education preferred.COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to vendors and other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.ADDITIONAL SKILLSMust be highly motivated and able to work independently.
