Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Maintenance Support Technician 1 (Crew C) for the Caldwell, ID facility. The role focuses on keeping all industrial mechanical equipment running efficiently, including preventive maintenance, lubrication, sanitation and troubleshooting across multiple plant areas.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, processing work orders, and coordinating additional tasks while adhering to safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of industrial or food processing mechanical experience required.
• Able to perform sound welds in accordance with welding codes and specifications (wire feed, stick, heliarc, oxy-acetylene, sanitary welds).
• Must provide required tools (see tools list).

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment in their work area(s).
• Maintains shop inventories, tools and equipment; creates and completes work orders in the system and prepares kitting when necessary.
• Coordinates or schedules additional work as needed; identifies parts and conducts inventory searches.

Skills
