Job summary

Witt/Kieffer is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support the Director of Maintenance in overseeing daily operations of the Maintenance Department at a Veterans facility. Ensure the environment is safe, compliant, and well-maintained for residents, visitors, and staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance or related settings; healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in maintenance or related environment.
• Healthcare, long-term care, or senior living experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of the Maintenance Department.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure facility systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Assist with repairs, inspections, and work orders.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts.
• Promote a safety-focused culture throughout the facility.
• Collaborate with leaders to address maintenance needs and resident experience.
• Supervise routine maintenance staff and completion of work orders.
