Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance department for our healthcare facility. You will oversee planning, staffing, and supervision of operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems, to ensure a safe, efficient building environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating with other departments, serving as Weekend Manager, and responding to emergencies while maintaining proper documentation and staff actions.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental control and building maintenance.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related field experience.
• Ability to work with elderly and disabled patients with patience and tact.
• Capable of performing essential job functions.

We are in search of a Maintenance Supervisor within the organization:

To provide direction and support for the Maintenance department, to include planning, organizing, staffing and supervising departmental operations and in the maintenance of the physical plant to include interior and exterior of building, heating and cooling system and departmental equipment. Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other related departments. Supervise maintenance assistant, if applicable. Maintain appropriate documentation and coordinate personnel actions with the Administrator.

• Participates in Department Head and corporate meetings as scheduled.
• Work with facility management team in a collaborative manner.
• Serve as Weekend Manager as scheduled.
• Respond to emergency situations as necessary.

Qualifications

• Training and experience in environmental control, physical plant maintenance and operation and repair of required maintenance equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, generators, plumbing, electrical and security systems
• Minimum of 1-year experience in maintenance or related field
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job
