Job summary

Manitou Group in Madison, SD is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the total maintenance function for the complex, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. You will supervise repair and maintenance of utilities, equipment, buildings, and safety systems, and develop preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

Five to seven years of related experience and an engineering/technical degree are required.

Qualifications

• Requires five to seven years of progressive manufacturing engineering or supervision experience.
• Engineering/Technical degree preferred.
• Ability to lead process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance of utilities, equipment, buildings and safety systems.
• Develop and manage proactive preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with managers on major repairs and plant projects.
• Maintain parts inventory and logistics for downtime minimization.
• Ensure safety, health and government regulation compliance.
• Lead and develop maintenance staff through training and supervision.
