Job summary

Grande Cheese Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at the Brownsville Facility in Wisconsin. You will lead daily maintenance activities, drive TPM strategies, and coordinate technician workflows in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment to ensure equipment reliability for Just-In-Time production.

You will collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams, applying lean maintenance practices and root cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• 6+ years in maintenance in a manufacturing environment; at least 1 year in a leadership or senior technician capacity.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance techniques.
• Proficiency troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and automated systems (PLCs, robotics, and control systems).
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide maintenance team members.
• Willingness to be on production floor 60% of the time with 40% of time performing administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities and champion TPM strategies to drive operational excellence.
• Coordinate technician workflows, troubleshoot mechanical and automated systems, and ensure equipment reliability for JIT production.
• Collaborate across production, quality, and engineering teams to align maintenance with operational goals.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using TPM, Jidoka, and Standardized Work.
• Manage CMMS data for predictive maintenance and ensure spare parts availability.
• Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and proactive problem-solving on the production floor.
