Job summary

Grande Cheese Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of cheese and whey production facilities. You will manage projects, perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, and maintain equipment, facility systems, and building infrastructure.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, implementing corrective actions, coordinating with plant teams, and upholding food safety standards (USDA, FDA, SQF, OSHA) while supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn advanced mechanical and electrical skills.
• Strong math and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer use.
• Knowledge of PLCs, control wiring, and electrical panels.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on production equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance with welding, lubrication and filter changes.
• Recordkeeping in CMMS for repairs, orders and parts inventory.
• Diagnose issues and implement corrective actions to improve safety and efficiency.
