Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Service Manager) to join its property management team at an apartment community in Boston, MA.

The Supervisor role requires effective evaluation of a broad range of maintenance needs to assist and optimize the community's operation. The ideal candidate will be honest, self-directed, organized, able to multi-task, and work well with co-workers and residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Electrical
• Plumbing

• Janitorial, Grounds, and Snow Removal

Requirements:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Initiative and self-starting attitude
• Excellent customer service skills
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance
• On-call availability for emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays
• Skilled in routine apartment maintenance and administrative tasks related to vendors/contractors
• Timely response and resolution of maintenance issues
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license
• Minimum 5 years of related maintenance experience, including supervisory roles and basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and overseeing capital projects
