Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Chattanooga, Tennessee to lead a high‑performing maintenance team at a manufacturing facility. Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience with corrugator equipment in a corrugated packaging environment.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with PLCs, servo systems, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
• Strong leadership, coaching and employee development skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering and maintenance.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Safety-focused with commitment to continuous improvement.
• Technical degree in a maintenance-related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians and craftsmen.
• Provide troubleshooting support to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance initiatives to improve equipment reliability.
• Coordinating daily maintenance activities, work assignments, and planned maintenance efforts.
• Partnering with operations and plant leadership to improve uptime and production performance.
• Monitoring maintenance inventory and supporting storeroom spending objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with plant safety, environmental, and maintenance standards.
• Leading maintenance-related safety meetings, training initiatives, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Supporting reliability improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coaching technicians on troubleshooting techniques, maintenance best practices, and safety procedures.
• Supporting equipment upgrades, repairs, and maintenance planning activities.
• Driving accountability for maintenance KPIs and reliability metrics.
