Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of Maintenance Technicians in preventive, predictive and corrective activities ensuring full equipment availability.

The role is a working lead who prioritizes, coordinates, assigns and confirms completion of tasks, with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement. The position offers a $30.00 per hour pay rate and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3–5 years maintenance experience or an associate degree or technical certification.
• Experience leading a maintenance team in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs and HMIs preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and safety compliance skills.
• Proficient with PC-based systems and ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Technicians and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective activities to maximize equipment availability.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure a safe working environment with zero accidents target.
• Ensure production lines meet safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Mentor and train maintenance staff; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement timely repairs.
• Interpret blueprints and job orders to guide the maintenance team.
