Job summary

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of Arbor Village, a newer apartment community in Sarasota, FL. This full-time salaried role offers a competitive salary and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day maintenance, scheduling work, ensuring safety and appearance, and handling repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Work to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
• Ensure safety, appearance and operational standards established by Carteret Management.
• Direct and supervise day-to-day administrative operations of the maintenance functions, including scheduling and assignment of work, submission of reports, paperwork and record keeping.
• Perform various hands-on maintenance duties to maintain and enhance the value of the community, diagnosing problems and repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting and cleaning.
• Responsible for day-to-day administrative operations of maintenance, including vendor management and reporting.
• Handle service requests for repairs and improvements of vacant apartments to market-ready status.
