Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Moorhead Tower Apartments in Pittsburgh, PA. You will supervise maintenance staff, manage service orders, oversee preventive maintenance, and coordinate capital projects to maintain safe, attractive communities.

Ideal candidates will have strong carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC knowledge, with budgeting, safety, vendor coordination, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in building or property maintenance supervisory work.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician preferred.
• Designated certifications for property type where required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules maintenance team and assists with daily operations.
• Maintains the work order system and updates/closes orders.
• Performs minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and HVAC as needed.
• Completes repairs for market-ready units in a timely manner.
• Oversees budgeting and purchasing for maintenance supplies.
• Conducts apartment and property inspections; coordinates with managers.
