Job summary

Norfolk-Iron- is seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee preventive maintenance on production equipment and lead the maintenance team. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and guide corrective actions to keep machinery running smoothly.

Responsibilities include prioritizing PM schedules, coordinating materials via Emaint, ensuring safety training and compliance, and driving efficiency projects. A high school diploma and 5+ years in maintenance are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of experience with production/manufacturing equipment and maintenance.
Experience in preventive maintenance and diagnostic of electrical/mechanical components.
Welding, hydraulics, PLC and electrical knowledge preferred.
Ability to read and follow safety procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

Oversees and prioritizes preventative maintenance schedules.
Performs and directs preventative maintenance of machine and equipment.
Diagnoses problems using mechanical and electrical knowledge and guides best actions.
Create requisitions for materials and enter them in Emaint.
Ensure compliance documentation is up to date and filed.
Inspects and tests machinery to ensure operability.
Mentor and supervise maintenance department staff.
Organize projects to improve operations efficiency.
Conduct quality assurance checks.
