Job summary

Arxada in Modesto, CA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead reliability, safety, and performance of our manufacturing operations. You will supervise maintenance personnel, drive preventative maintenance, and partner with cross‑functional teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, you will champion OSHA, GMP, and SQF standards, coach staff, and manage capital projects from planning through execution to deliver high‑quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• 3 years in industrial electrical systems, automation tech, PLC programming, and process controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD documentation.
• SQF certification and forklift certification, or ability to obtain/c maintain required certifications.
• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant equipment.
• Prioritize and manage maintenance work orders; establish standards and ensure timely completion.
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs for critical equipment.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and site leadership to minimize downtime and drive operational excellence.
• Support capital projects through planning, coordination, and execution with strong stakeholder alignment.
• Champion safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP).
• Coach and develop maintenance team members and foster a supportive, high-performing environment.
