Job summary

Arxada is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Modesto, CA to lead maintenance of manufacturing equipment, drive preventative maintenance, and partner with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.

You will report to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager and play a key role in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across our facilities. The role requires strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
5 years of industrial maintenance leadership experience.
3 years of industrial electrical systems, OSHA, automation, PLC programming and process controls.
Experience implementing preventative maintenance strategies and leading continuous improvement.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD documentation.
SQF certification and forklift certification, or ability to obtain them.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant equipment.
Prioritize and manage maintenance work orders, establish standards, ensure timely completion.
Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs for critical equipment.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and site leadership to minimize downtime.
Support capital projects through planning, coordination, and stakeholder alignment.
Champion safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (OSHA/FDA/SQF/GMP).
Coach and develop maintenance team members in a respectful, inclusive environment.
