Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Devens, MA facility. You will oversee maintenance operations, coach craftsmen, and drive reliability improvements while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a technical maintenance degree or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years of supervisory maintenance experience in packaging or related industries. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

2-year technical degree in a maintenance-related discipline or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of maintenance supervisory leadership experience; packaging industry experience preferred.
3+ years of mechanical or electrical maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of maintenance techniques and equipment (pumps, valves, motors, gear boxes).
Strong safety mindset and ability to lead safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance operations to maximize uptime and reliability.
Coach and direct craftsmen; ensure adherence to maintenance practices.
Monitor inventory orders and control storeroom spend within budget.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and corporate rules.
Lead continuous improvement of reliability plans in the plant.
Coordinate daily and break-in work with operations to improve reliability metrics.
Provide leadership in safety, training, and work allocation.
