Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Cressona, PA to direct installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment. You will prioritize work based on production needs and lead a maintenance team to support uptime and safety.

Strong technical breadth across electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics is essential. Experience with CMMS and Oracle, plus knowledge of extrusion equipment, will help you drive preventive programs and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Technical understanding across electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
• Capability to learn CMMS, Oracle, and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Directing and assisting in installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Schedule repairs and maintenance aligned with production demands.
• Oversee maintenance team and activities per manufacturing schedule.
• Ensure proper preventative maintenance and safety adherence.
• Develop team member capabilities and update SOPs where needed.

What you will be doing

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing and assisting in installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, and equipment. This role has responsibility in executing work priorities to team members based on production demands/needs, directs team members on scheduling repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment, supports product development and improvements.

Duties include:

• Assists in the design, implementation, and modifications of preventative maintenance programs
• Resolves maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering, and quality as needed.
• Oversee, direct and schedule maintenance team and activities in adherence to the manufacturing schedule.
• Ensure proper preventative maintenance is completed, training is executed to team members, and safety measures are adhered to.
• Ability to troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, repair, rebuild and/or replace manufacturing and facilities equipment and systems.
• Assist in developing the technical capabilities and skills of less experience team members as needed and appropriate.
• Update SOP’s and work instructions as needed.

• 2+ years in an industrial manufacturing setting
• Technical understanding and ability across a broad spectrum of technical areas (electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)
• Capability to learn the CMMS, Oracle and other programs related to this assignment

Preferred:

• High degree of knowledge of extrusion equipment and processes preferred
