Job summary

Hydro is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Monett, MO to direct installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, prioritizing safety, reliability, and on-time performance. You will lead the maintenance team, schedule activities, and drive continuous improvement in a busy industrial environment.

The role requires strong technical skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics, and familiarity with CMMS and Oracle to manage work orders and asset data.

What you will be doing

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing and assisting in installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, and equipment. This role has responsibility in executing work priorities to team members based on production demands/needs, directs team members on scheduling repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment, supports product development and improvements. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for improving equipment reliability, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and on schedule, promoting a culture of safety and accountability, and providing leadership and development to maintenance personnel. The role requires effective allocation of resources in both planned and unplanned maintenance environments while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

• Assists in the design, implementation, and modifications of preventative maintenance programs.
• Resolves maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering, and quality as needed.
• Oversee, direct and schedule maintenance team and activities in adherence to the manufacturing schedule.
• Ensure proper preventative maintenance is completed, training is executed to team members, and safety measures are adhered to.
• Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, repair, rebuild and/or replace manufacturing and facilities equipment and systems.

What will make you successful?

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, with demonstrated maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Experience managing maintenance teams, work order completion, equipment reliability programs, and maintenance planning is preferred

• Strong technical understanding across a wide range of areas, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to learn and utilize CMMS, Oracle, and other relevant software for this role.
• Preferred knowledge of extrusion equipment and processes.
