Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Abbington at Stones River Apartments in Murfreesboro, TN. The role emphasizes leadership, maintenance, repairs, and customer service to residents; on-call for weekends/evenings emergencies.

Hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Mon–Fri. Requires 2+ years in multifamily housing, HVAC and CPO certification, valid driver’s license, and strong communication/teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must have basic working knowledge of property maintenance needs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Minimum two years of multifamily housing or equivalent field experience.
• HVAC and CPO certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Strong communication and ability to work with residents, employees, vendors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard apartment maintenance repair, including painting and appliance repair.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, heating/AC, electrical, and carpentry.
• Oversee contractors and vendors working at the property.
• Maintenance team must be on call for emergencies on weekends/evenings.
• Control expenses to meet budgeted guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Participate in resident promotions and functions as required by the property manager.
• Follow safety and liability guidelines.

Maintenance Supervisor Wanted! – Abbington at Stones River Apartments – Murfreesboro, TN

Burlington Capital Properties is now accepting applications for the Maintenance Supervisor position at our Abbington at Stones River Apartment Community in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We pride ourselves in the quality living experience we provide to our residents and therefore are considering individuals with demonstrated abilities in the areas of leadership, maintenance, repairs, and customer service. Maintenance team members protect and improve the overall appearance and maintenance of the property, and we value maintenance supervisors who understand their individual and team impact on the overall success of the property and resident retention.

The hours for this position are 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday through Friday, with “on call” requirement for emergency maintenance on weekends/evenings.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform standard apartment maintenance repair which could include painting and appliance repair
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repairs related to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and carpentry
• Oversee contractors and vendors who may perform work at the property
• Maintenance team members are required to be “on call”
• Control expenses to meet budgeted guidelines

• Follow all safety and liability guidelines as outlined

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must possess adequate working knowledge of a property’s significant maintenance needs such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry etc.
• Minimum two years of multifamily housing or equivalent field experience required
• HVAC and CPO Certification required
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record required
• Ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public
