S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager for Sherwood Crossing in Mechanicsville, VA. The role oversees maintenance in the Service Manager's absence and leads on-site repairs to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Responsibilities include supervising trades, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to service calls, with a shift to after-hours coverage as needed; benefits include PTO, health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Overall mechanical aptitude and ability.
• EPA Freon Recovery; HVAC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Assumes responsibility in the absence of the Service Manager.
• Performs mechanical and construction tasks: HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, tile, carpentry, welding, electrical repairs.
• Responds promptly to service calls.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Supervises on-site maintenance and repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
