Job summary

Westland Real Estate Group seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for Amber Hills in San Antonio, TX. The role combines hands-on maintenance with supervising a on-site team to ensure safety and high-quality living spaces.

You will manage work orders, coordinate vendors, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations. The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years in supervision, strong HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and EPA/HVAC certifications, plus a valid driver’s license and solid computer

Qualifications

• English proficiency: read, write, and speak English fluently.
• 2–3+ years in a residential maintenance supervisory role.
• Demonstrated experience supervising one or more employees.
• Advanced hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• HVAC Certification is required for NV, TX, and San Bernardino County, CA.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
• General computer skills for managing work orders and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise the on-site maintenance team; manage schedules and work orders.
• Oversee and perform advanced maintenance in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to Westland standards.
• Manage the property's work order system from start to finish; coordinate outside vendors and the make-ready process.
• Assist the Community Manager with budget management and control inventory and supplies.
