Landmark of Plano Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Plano, TX seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure a safe, compliant, and well-running facility. You will supervise crew, schedule preventive maintenance, manage contractors, and monitor HVAC, boilers, water systems, and generators.

The ideal candidate has healthcare or long-term care maintenance experience, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and a commitment to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or long-term care maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, boilers, water systems and generators.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to plan staffing and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote Safety & Compliance: Conduct fire system inspections and coordinate monthly drills.
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain Equipment: Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage Supplies & Budget: Order maintenance supplies and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Supervise Contractors: Oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Maintain Standards: Ensure the facility and its equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with regulations.
• Train Staff: Provide job-specific training and promote adherence to safety procedures.
• Coordinate Schedules: Plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.
