Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a dependable Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team, ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. You will hire, train, and supervise staff and oversee maintenance operations daily.

Responsibilities include conducting fire system inspections, coordinating monthly drills, developing a preventive maintenance program, and managing HVAC, boilers, water systems, and generators while coordinating budgets and contractors.

Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience in healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Understanding of HVAC, boiler, water, and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage supplies, ordering, and departmental budgeting.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members
• Promote Safety & Compliance: Conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program
• Maintain Equipment: Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators
• Manage Supplies & Budget: Order maintenance supplies and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines
• Supervise Contractors: Oversee and coordinate work by external contractors
• Maintain Standards: Ensure the facility and its equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with all regulations
• Train Staff: Provide job-specific training and promote adherence to safety procedures
• Coordinate Schedules: Plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets
