Job summary

Qualifications

• 7 years in maintenance with troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics.
• 3 years of manufacturing/maintenance leadership.
• 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• CMMS experience to improve maintenance operations and performance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to train, motivate and develop employees.
• Flexibility to work off shifts, holidays, weekends, and long hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to attain maximum efficiency of equipment, labor, and time.
• Develop mechanics, operators, and co-workers in safety, food safety, GMP's, equipment knowledge, and operations performance.
• Work with planners and purchasing to achieve 100% PM/Work Order compliance.
• Communicate with department leadership on performance initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement groups and meetings.
• Supervise equipment rebuilds, repairs, and PM tasks timely and thoroughly.
• Ensure CMMS documents are complete with work details, time, parts, signatures, and quality verification.
• Lead or participate in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Actions.
• Train, motivate, and develop maintenance staff for safe, timely operations.
• Maintain adequate maintenance coverage for manufacturing operations.
