Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in West Monroe, LA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Maintenance Department, oversee repair and upkeep of production equipment, and maintain facilities.

You will coach and develop the maintenance team, implement preventive maintenance, ensure safety compliance, manage scheduling with contractors, and drive data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of in-plant exposure to either mechanical or electrical maintenance responsibilities.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proficient with a computer; including Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with CMMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and ensures safe work habits including compliance and improvements to safety procedures.
• Supervises and establishes safety procedures for maintenance work, including lock-out/tag-out and arc-flash.
• Schedules repair and improvement of production equipment to minimize outages.
• Supervises department personnel and coordinates training and performance evaluations.
• Implements preventative maintenance programs and uses data to drive decisions.
• Directs maintenance technicians and contracted service providers as needed.
